The following is a small sample of the over 1600 projects. Click on the image to make it larger. I do not have a listing of the colors used in the projects below so there is a research fee. If you are interested in obtaining the color name and code for any of the samples, please email me with the Project ID listed below the project name along with Before, After, Alternate 1,2 etc. Please understand that the color calibration of your monitor affects the colors you see on your screen. There is a $20 research fee for the first color and $10 for each additional color payable through Pay Pal.

Foursquare houses have clapboard on the first floor and shingles on the top floors. The top floors must be a darker or more prominent color than the first floor.

1938 Cape Cod

Notice the color placement in the before image. The homeowner tried to get fancy by painting the trim a dark blue accent color under the eaves and over the windows. Doing that ruined the entire look of the house making the eaves and windows appear thinner and weaker. It looks like the gutter is supporting the roof. The next image is a similar color with correct placement and shutters added. Just a little bad creativity can really ruin a house.

1904 Brick Queen Anne in Michigan

This spectacular home is located in an area where many tourists visit and take photos. While the house looks wonderful, the current colors do nothing for the house. The current color scheme is composed of 9 colors. While 9 colors sound impressive it looks like there are only 3. The placement is awful with the blue and gray flip flopping randomly on the trim. The new color scheme has three colors and that is all that is needed when correctly placed to allow the architecture to do what it is supposed to do and also show off the details.
