The following is a small sample of the over 1600 projects. Click on the image to make it larger. I do not have a listing of the colors used in the projects below so there is a research fee. If you are interested in obtaining the color name and code for any of the samples, please email me with the Project ID listed below the project name along with Before, After, Alternate 1,2 etc. Please understand that the color calibration of your monitor affects the colors you see on your screen. There is a $20 research fee for the first color and $10 for each additional color payable through Pay Pal.
1910 Florida Foursquare
Scope of Work:
- New paint colors.
Don’t be afraid of darker paint colors. The contrast between a dark body and light trim color brighten the house up. Since there aren’t any curtains on the windows a dark window sash would not be noticed as a sash color to match the trim.
1889 Shingle Style in NJ
Scope of Work:
- New historic colors and color placement corrected.
- Install new operable louvered shutters.
This house was built as a Shingle Style Victorian featuring natural unpainted shingles with a narrower reveal than there is currently. Over the years the original shingles were replaced and painted resulting in what you see now.
The main problem is the placement of the trim color resulting in a un-unified look. Notice the trim on the gable and the trim around the windows are different colors.
1900 Brick Queen Anne on Historic Register
Scope of Work:
- New historic colors and color placement corrected.
This house was getting a new roof and what the roofers did was they installed an aluminum fascia under the roof line in brown. Although this may be ignored by some, the fascia is part of the trim which means that this brown must now be on all the trim. Be aware if you have roofing done.
The brown was a good color however for the house along with the olive shingles.
1920 Foursquare in North Carolina
Scope of Work:
- Remove those ugly shutters.
- New historic colors and color placement corrected.
Foursquare houses seldom have shutters especially bad fake shutters. Brick should be left natural but if painted it should be painted to resemble brick.
