It’s Monkeyface, a wire-hair fox terrier.
The name Monkeyface came from the 1941 movie “Suspicion” directed by Alfred Hitchcock starring Cary Grant and Joan Fontaine. See why .
Monkeyface was the CEO of the Old House Guy team. She always gave final approval on the work that went out to clients. She usually slept when we worked on the website or design projects, but was always very supportive.
Monkeyface’s favorite past-time was hanging out on her porch during the summer. She also liked to sneak off the porch to eat the Mulberries that had fallen on the ground.
In her younger days she would sit on the back of the chair and look out the window waiting for me to come home.
I am sad to say that Monkeyface passed away on Sunday, November 3, 2013. She was 15 years and 9 months old. She had many friends and will be missed by all who knew her, especially us.
Here are some of my favorite pictures of Monkeyface taken over the years for you to see.
