Fine Homebuilding gives this house the Editor’s Choice Award. OHG gives this house the Ugly House Award. Not considering the interior, it’s difficult to believe how bad the exterior can be designed. I know Modernists revolt against Traditionalist’s but it looks like they shot themselves in the foot!
Frugality and A Mess of a House

This once charming house with ornate pedimented windows was vandalized by someone who did not like vinyl siding but wanted interpreted design in a different and unfortunate way.
Only a few years ago Anderson windows offered a vinyl replacement window that was sold as a good quality vinyl window and the answer to everyone’s energy saving problems.
Now Anderson is saying those windows are no good. What’s next?
